Legal Assistance
Weld County Free Legal Clinic Second Monday of Every Month 3:30-5:00 pm, Lincoln Park Library 1012 11th Street, Greeley. Also, available at Erie Community Library and Carbon Valley Regional Library in Firestone. Free Legal Self-help Clinic for parties without an attorney. As a COVID work-around, instead of clinic patrons coming in-person to your local public library (which has limited access), the volunteer attorney will call each clinic patron’s telephone directly, during the clinic hours, using the phone number provided by email to your library staff. Volunteer attorneys will answer questions, help fill out forms, and explain the process and procedure for civil legal issues, including family law, civil litigation, property law, probate law, collections, appeals, landlord-tenant law, veteran’s benefits, and civil protection orders.
